Our surgeon and founder, Robert T. Lin, M.D. is a graduate of UCLA School of Medicine, Jules Stein Eye Institute, where he is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Lin completed his undergraduate studies at University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Lin has performed over 25,000 refractive procedures, and is also a board-certified ophthalmologist by the American Board of Ophthalmology. USAEyes has distinguished Dr. Lin as one of the few USAEyes Certified Refractive Surgeons in the United States. He is also named, America's Top Ophthalmologists by the Consumer's Research Council of America. Dr. Lin underwent LASIK eleven years ago, and sees 20/20 without glasses. He will take the time to make sure that you are comfortable and well-informed before, during, and after your procedure.

Over 95% of our patients obtain vision within 1 line of their best correctable vision, which is 20/20 for most individuals. 99.9% obtain 20/40 vision, which is the minimum level to pass California state driver's test without having to wear glasses or contacts. The national average for enhancements procedure is 10%, while our enhancement rate is less than 5%.

3.       Latest Technology

We are one of few facilities that utilizes the GALILEI Dual Scheimflug Analyzer and the Magellan Corneal Topographer to diagnose otherwise undetectable conditions of your cornea. This ensures that we take all the necessary precautionary steps to provide you the safest eye correction procedure.

We offer Wavefront-Guided Custom Micro-LASIKŪ to reduce the likelihood of glare and halos, and possilbly achieve better vision than what may be achieved with glasses or soft contact lenses.

We utilize several lasers including the Alcon Ladarvision 4000 which boasts the fastest eyetracker in the market, tracking your eyes at 4000 times per seconds, should they move during the procedure. It is also the only laser that was demonstrated to the FDA that the laser's wavefront-guided results were better than their conventional LASIK results. Other lasers' custom wavefront-guided platforms were deemed to be only "safe and effective" and not better than their conventional platforms. Lasers, like the Allegretto Wavelight lasers are almost always utilized in the "Wavefront-optimized" mode and therefore do not deliver true "Custom wavefront-guided" treatments. Some surgeons utilize their own customized techiques, naming it "Custom-Eyes", and other names that contain the word "custom". These techniques do not utilize the same technology as " Custom Wavefront-guided" treatments. Most refractive surgeons regard "Custom wavefront-guided" treatments to be superior."

We are one of the first facilities in California to upgrade our Nidek EC-5000 laser with an Eyetracker and an FDA-approved unit for Hyperopia treatment. Some laser centers that currently utilize the Nidek EC-5000, still do so without an eyetracker or FDA-approved Hyperopia unit.

To ensure consistent results, our lasers are all serviced and maintained directly by their Manufacturers, and not through third-party vendors.

Dr. Lin is the pioneer in ultra-thin flap LASIK [MICRO-LASIKŪ, Trademark #2681144, U.S. Patent Office] and LASEK. He has performed over 25,000 procedures utilizing this tissue-conserving technique that result in less dry eyes, decreased weakening of the cornea, and more available treatment options. Dr. Lin and his Micro-LASIK technique was featured on the nationally televised show "Health Watch" in 2005. Dr. Lin's technique enables more patients to safely undergo advanced treatments such as Wavefront-Guided Custom Micro-LASIK.

Dr. Lin is skilled in many techniques and will select the best refractive procedure for you whether it is NearVision Conductive Keratoplasty (CK), CRT, Epi-Lasik, Intacs, LASEK, LASIK, Micro-LASIKŪ, LRI, ICL, or lens implantation.

8.       Affordable Surgical Fees

At IQ Laser Vision, we believe in providing the best possible outcomes and patient experience available anywhere. Although, some centers charge as much as $6500 for LASIK, we charge significantly less because Dr. Lin believes that every individual deserves the highest levels of outcomes and service. We are able to keep our costs lower than most centers, because we have less marketing costs since the majority of our patients are referred from satisfied patients and other doctors.

Payments can be as low as $49 per month and interest free financing for up to 24 months is available on approved credit.
